Project Bio
Beka’s Real Estate Group, LLC is a mission-driven housing enterprise founded by Rebekah and Jonathan Rich to address the growing gap in rental housing for America’s “missing middle”—working families who earn too much to qualify for subsidized housing but too little to comfortably afford market rents.
Based in Palm Harbor, Florida, the company acquires, rehabilitates, and operates residential properties using a long-term stewardship model centered on financial sustainability, family stability, and community well-being.
Unlike traditional real estate ventures that maximize profits for investors and shareholders, BREG reinvests operational surplus into property maintenance, living-wage staffing, resident support services, and long-term tenant stability initiatives.
Over time, and particularly after the founders’ lifetimes, the enterprise will transition to a steward-owned structure that redirects what would otherwise be founder dividends into scholarship funds and homeownership pathway programs for resident families.
This is an operating company designed to prove that rental housing can be financially sustainable and socially beneficial—without relying on subsidy and without extracting extreme wealth.
